So here is the third and final part of my series.
The following pictures were taken on Saturday. First we enjoyed carving pumpkins with the Penns. Then they had to get back to Redlands, so Mark, the girls, and I went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. It was such a fun day!

The three M&M’s…and Maddie!

Mina is not amused in either of these pictures…she’s a fireman/woman, by the way. ![]()

Such a great time! A cute dog and looks very loving too.
Mina is the perfect portrait of the “long-suffering pet” but to tell you the truth, I think she likes being included. She reminds me of some women who like the attention but just want to be sure you know she is putting forth the effort.
Did anyone else carve pumpkins or did Siri do all the work? Do you want our recipe for roasted pumpkin seeds for next year? They are good.
I LOVE seeing photos of you and the Penns spending time together. It is vicarious enjoyment for me. I do so wish I could still talk to Bev about our kids and grandkids.
Love, MN Mom
Actually, Jeremiah did a lot of the “cleaning out” of the pumpkins…should have included that photo! Siri helped carve Signe’s pumpkin, and Jeremiah did the other two. It was a fun time!
I get to see them tomorrow afternoon for piano lessons. I don’t think I told you I’m giving them lessons.
Looks like Mackenzie finally got used to her costume! What a cutie.
